The Library of Babel

A Spin-off of http://bookwormshead.blogspot.co.uk

Austerlitz - W.G. Sebald, Anthea Bell Undeniably this book has to be considered as a work of genius.
History, photography, foreign languages and architecture melt in each other in the harmonious pot of this novel.

Yet, for the richness of its cultural references you can never lose focus on "Austerlitz". I somehow did and now have the problem to come back to the right mood and time for finishing this novel as it deserves.

Just don't make my mistake and read "Austerlitz" without having any other book open on your shelf at the same time.
It may be not that easy getting into the story at first but it worths a try. You will learn many things you didn't know being rewarded by a superb prose.
