A Tiler's Afternoon - Lars Gustafsson Despite its not really intriguing title, this novel confirms the talent of Lars Gustafsson. This great Swedish novelist can create an interesting story even from the most apparently plain plot.

A Tiler's Afternoon is perhaps not one of the best things Gustafsson has ever wrote, but it's an excellent proof of how common people, in common places living common situations may have something to tell us if narrated in a proper way.
